After Hours Productions was founded in 2001 by Darren Sanchez, Buddy Scalera and Chris Eliopoulos. Today, Sanchez is the sole proprietor and CEO/Publisher. AHP is a producer and consultant in the development of intellectual properties (IP’s) through comic books, animation, and custom branded marketing content. AHP has specialized in developing new IP and new franchises through comic books and animation since 2001.
Bringing ideas to life is a specialty of AHP, including original story worlds, story-based educational content, super-hero adventures, branded messaging and custom IP development. As the Creative Lead and Senior Editor of Marvel Custom Projects team, Sanchez has worked with a long list of clients in creating custom, branded, and educational content as comic books and animated stories.
AHP's specialties include full service development of custom deliverables including ideation, conception and completion of existing or original concepts. Examples include creating new super heroes around brands and/or causes, or individuals such as kids, celebrities, musicians and athletes. Experience also includes designing Marvel trading cards and athlete themed custom bobbleheads for MLB, NBA, NHL and NFL players, mascots and teams.
